Power of Dreams - Super Magical

A friend of mine was encouraging me the other day that there was something really good waiting for us. Therefore, when the time comes, we will certainly receive it. Do you have a friend that motivates you saying that you have something really great coming for you. If yes, don't forget to mention and talk about your super motivator here.  More than just a line of motivation this makes real sense when we relate it to our own lives. This makes us feel that our life is already written and when time comes everything that was meant for us will reach our hands. I hope almost all of us have experienced such a situation during our life journey. Sometimes you  might have planned to study your favorite subject in college with your best friend. But at the end you might have taken some other subject and had gone really far from your favorite friends. This might not be one case, there might be many situations where you might have experienced this. What will be your reaction to such a case? ...

Due tomorrow? Do tomorrow.

“My advice is to never do tomorrow what you can do today. Procrastination is the thief of time.” A famous quote by Charles Dickens. While reading this quote my eyes got stuck into the word procrastination. Are you a procrastinator ? I guess many times we become a procrastinator even though we don’t wish to be.  Imagine you have got a holiday today. You have some assignments to be submitted next week. Would you complete your assignment now or think that any way I have got one more week for the submission, I will just do it later, let me have a good sleep now. And that 'later' goes till the day before the submission. And you will be completing your work a day before the deadline in a hurry. The same thing happens for your studies also. You will happily enjoy and waste the entire semester without studying anything and on the day before the exam you open up your beautifully kept notebook and start studying. You will complete the entire syllabus with your superpower. I guess you ...

'NO' - The Powerful Weapon !

“When you say “Yes” to others, make sure you are not saying “No” to yourself”. A famous and beautiful quote by Paulo Coelho. When was the last time you said ‘yes, sure’ to someone but your heart was screaming from inside “nooo”. But what is the use? You have anyway told yes. You might say Oh I can't be so rigid, I am not a rough person to say no. I want to be nice with everyone. Yeah, kind of true, being rigid is not so easy. But I have a small question. Are you happy by saying yes all the time ? Think, think. It’s time to get out of the guilt you have acquired by saying yes to everything.  Always have your own stand. Never leave your dignity for someone else. Do the things that you like. Never try to do anything to satisfy others. Always remember the people you are trying to satisfy now by saying yes won’t be with you forever. The guilt you acquire after telling yes will be faced by only you. No one will come to share the guilt with you.   If you don’t like or do...

The Broken Promises

Promises are worse than lies. You don’t just make them believe, you also make them hope. A famous quote by American Actress Marilyn Monroe. This quote reminded me a story I have read long back. The story of a beggar and a rich man. One day a rich man while walking through the streets saw a poor old man shivering with cold. Seeing the old man's plight, the rich man paused beside him and informed him he would take a blanket from his bungalow and bring it to him. The old man was so happy and he waited for the rich man to come with the blanket. The rich man on reaching his home was so busy that he completely forgot about the blanket. It was too late in the night and he slept due to the heavy work of the day. The next day the rich man woke up from his sleep remembering the blanket. He immediately took a blanket and went to the old man. But it was too late. The old man died due to severe cold. But a small letter was beside him. The rich man took the letter and it said, “ I had the cou...

Unpack your mind !

“Love yourself enough to let go of the people, thoughts, and habits that are weighing you down”. A famous quote by Karen Salmansohn, who is a self-help author and designer. Despite its simplicity, this quote contains a wealth of meaning. I am sure that everyone has something on our mind that keeps us worried, depressed or guilty. But my question is, are you someone who keeps all these things just in your mind and carries this big backpack on your shoulder? When traveling, I like to stuff everything into my backpack. I just stuff all my creams, dresses, books, and a lot more into my pack. And the moment I start walking with this luggage I start complaining that my back is paining badly.  If our back pains this much by holding all our unnecessary stuff, then what is the condition of our mind? Our mind is holding a much bigger weight and that too completely unnecessary. “ Why should I suffer from this pain ?” That should be the question that we should ask ourselves. Sometimes o...

Urgency loves Patience 😍

Hello everyone. Greetings and hope everything is well with you. Here's a task for you. Consider a scenario in which I will reward you with 5000 rupees, if you swim across a deep lake. It's up to you whether you want to take that risk or not. Next, imagine I am telling you that your best friend is in big trouble across the lake. You can't save him if you don't go now. Now you will go right? This time I haven't offered any amount. It is your urgency that makes you swim across the lake and be ready to take up any risk for your best friend.  Urgency is the biggest self-motivator. It is common that we get the assignment submission dates almost 2 to 3 weeks before. We know that it is important to submit the assignments and only if we submit them on time we get good marks. But how many of you keep your assignments completed before time and be relaxed at the time of submission dates? If you are a person like that, it is good. But unfortunately, I am not like that. I will...

Keep Going is the Key

Despite my best efforts, I found the exam to be too difficult. What is wrong with me? I don't seem to be getting any good news. My efforts have been so hard.  Are you someone who tells or thinks like this? I guess almost all of us have gone through these kinds of thoughts at least once in our lifetime. In the face of these thoughts, we are pushed into a deep pit in which we may drown and lose our success. Here is a short and sweet story that you should keep in mind before you plan to quit.  Once there was a businessman who lived a luxurious life. But all of a sudden his business started losing. He lost his company, house, car and other valuables. He was in a huge debt. He decided to give up his life. Before giving up his life he wanted to sit somewhere alone quietly. So he went to a river bank far from the city. When he was sitting there a farmer came and sat beside him and started talking. Quickly they became good friends. The businessman shared his tragic story with t...
