Keep Going is the Key

Despite my best efforts, I found the exam to be too difficult. What is wrong with me? I don't seem to be getting any good news. My efforts have been so hard.  Are you someone who tells or thinks like this? I guess almost all of us have gone through these kinds of thoughts at least once in our lifetime. In the face of these thoughts, we are pushed into a deep pit in which we may drown and lose our success. Here is a short and sweet story that you should keep in mind before you plan to quit.

Once there was a businessman who lived a luxurious life. But all of a sudden his business started losing. He lost his company, house, car and other valuables. He was in a huge debt. He decided to give up his life. Before giving up his life he wanted to sit somewhere alone quietly. So he went to a river bank far from the city. When he was sitting there a farmer came and sat beside him and started talking. Quickly they became good friends. The businessman shared his tragic story with the farmer and told him that he is gonna give up his life. On hearing this the farmer told a small  story to the business man. Started like this. The farmer planted some grass and bamboo seeds together. He took care both of them well. Soon the grass started growing and it spread greenery everywhere but the bamboo seed did not sprout. The farmer still continued to care for the bamboo seed. After one year the grass became more dense but no change with the bamboo seeds. The farmer didn't lose hope; he continued to give good care to the bamboo seeds. Years went by  and the grass became more and more dense but the bamboo seeds did not show any response. After 5 years a small plant sprouted from the bamboo seeds. Within six months the small plant grew to 20 feet tall. In these 5 years the roots of bamboo become strong enough to hold a 20 feet tall plant. When we get struggles in life it doesn't mean that we should quit. Instead our roots are getting more and more strong to hold anything in life. The farmer didn't give up on the bamboo and that brought him a 20 feet tall plant.

The businessman became so motivated and determined not to give up. He worked hard again and brought back everything he had lost one day.

We sometimes forget why we started something when we work too hard for it. Never be like that. Don't lose sight of what you want to achieve and work hard to achieve it. Never quit. When you ever think of quitting, think why you started and the struggles you faced to reach till here. When you quit you have to start everything from the beginning. Always keep in mind that you are so close to your goal.

Know that success is a combination of hard work, failures, pain and a  sea of obstacles. Never lose or quit. Keep moving. Don't forget to keep your beautiful smile on your beautiful face. Have a beautiful, successful and happy day.
