Poverty Should End !

 There is a Greek proverb saying “ When poverty comes in through the door, love goes out through the window”.

Have you experienced real poverty in your life ? 

I guess no.

I haven't even experienced it.

And ofcourse it's not a good thing to experience.


There are many people in our surrounding who are struggling to get at least one meal a day. Some people skip their meals to feed their children. It has become quite common around us.


Is this happening because our Earth is not having enough food for all of us ?

Or are we taking more than we are allotted ?

Have we become greedy ?

Each one of us really needs to think about this matter.

Why does this happen ? 


Many people had to eat the leftovers. They don't even have a house and good clothes to change. They need to sleep on the footpaths. They hardly struggle to meet the two ends together. 


Poverty is actually a man-made disaster. Have you heard about poverty in the early days of life? People used to exchange food and other necessary items during that time. Barter system was mainly used.  Then when did poverty come to our life?

I guess it came along with the usage of money. Money changed our lives. It classified people into different groups, groups of poor people, groups of rich people, and so on.


Most of the friendships and other relationships will be with us only in our rich life. If our life moves to a poverty state these friendships will also move away from us. 

Money has the power to decide our lives. It even decides whether we should live or not.

Farmers, businessmen and many other people commit suicide every year due to poverty.

Poverty occurs mainly due to lack of education, unemployment, natural disasters, etc. The government is also coming up with various things like free education to the poor people, employment opportunities for all, and ration facilities with the motive of eradicating poor people from our societies.

But I believe it is not only the duty of the government to take care of them, we should all be part of that. We should keep in mind that there are many in our surrounding who struggle for daily needs. 


“ The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor “ . Proverbs 22.9 from the bible. Keep this in mind and help your friends to come out of poverty. Never waste anything unnecessarily. Just because many are around us who are struggling for those things.

Unstoppable power of challenges.

 W hile walking through the busy streets, I came to notice a poignant scene. A young woman in her 30’s sitting on the footpath and crafting rose bouquets. Beside her a tiny boy - mostly her son, who took the role of a tiny salesman. The boy approached the people walking by requesting them to buy the flowers. The little innocent face caught their attention, so most of them bought flowers. I joined them as well. This might seem like an ordinary scene in a busy city. But taking a moment and thinking of the scene will help us understand many things. Stop Comparing : Start Succeeding !

  Hellooo Everyone! Today, I want to take you back to your school days. Were you a front bencher or back bencher? You know society often considers the front benchers as the toppers and the backbenchers as the losers. Well I believe in what our former president, Abdul Kalam said, “The best brains of the nation may be found on the last benches of the classroom”. From the experiences and stories that I have heard, I came to know that the front benchers may know how to top the class but the back  benchers often have a  deeper understanding of how to be the real topper of life.
