Turning Pain into Power !

The word friendship seems to be too simple but it is having incredible powers than you think. It can give you joy, lots of memories that always hold over hearts and in the same way it teaches you really tough lessons of betrayal and mistreatment. Like many others reading this, I too had experienced both good and bad friendships, this really changed me but ultimately made me stronger only. I believe that we should experience the bad friendships first and then enjoy the really good life waiting for us. Bad friendships are sometimes a blessing in disguise. It will teach us resilience and make us powerful to withstand anything.

But not everyone will be so lucky to overcome the emotional scars that happen through bullying or ragging. The tragic story of Ammu, a young nursing student from Kerala is a heartbreaking reminder of this. She ended her life leaving two words behind “I quit”.

Ammu’s life was full of promises and I believe she had a beautiful life filled with happiness and wonderful friends lying ahead. But in the darkness of betrayals and ragging she couldn’t find it, and she quitted.
The tragedy is not about Ammu. It is for the classmates who bullied her too. Three of her friends were arrested. Their life was also destroyed due to the cruelty they did to the poor girl.
Delete the word “Quit” from your dictionary. There is always a light waiting for you at the other end. Keep moving. Learn from all the difficulties you face. There are dreams waiting for you to be fulfilled, so many things to be explored. Always remember the challenges you face today are shaping you to someone stronger tomorrow. And don’t forget to keep your beautiful smile on your beautiful face. Have a beautiful and lovely day.
