Find the real fighter :)

“Freedom cannot be achieved unless women have been emancipated from all kinds of oppression “. A famous quote by the former president of South Africa.

This is not a simple topic. It needs much more attention.

Does everyone live in an independent country?

Do we have freedom ?

Women are still waiting for a day to get freedom. They are always seen in the eyes that they are only meant to do all the household chores, cooking, cleaning, taking care of their family and so on.

Is it true? Are women meant for only that?

There is no use in talking that we all are living in the 21st century, everyone’s attitude is the same. Some people are not ready to accept the growth of women. From birth to death women are going through big pressures and sadness. The rules are not fully implemented in our society to help the women. There are parents who go for gender reveal test and do abortions when they came to know that the baby is a girl. The parents find the girl children as a liability. This happens not only among uneducated and unemployed people. It is common among everyone regardless of class. Girl children are not given equal education and opportunities as their brothers or other boys.

In today's world a lot of improvements are made. In almost every sector of job we can see women. They are coming forward to compete with the boys. Also the governments of various countries are coming up with laws to improve the skill of girls. Women are given reservation in colleges and companies.

The boys are not coming forward to care for girls. Some try to torture them physically and mentally. There are many cases reporting such crimes daily in newspapers.

Some consider marriage only as a business. They don’t give much value to it. They only concentrate on dowry. Even if they get good amount of dowery they still wish to get more and  torture the women. The biggest example of this is what happened in Kerala a year back. A girl named Vismaya was badly harassed and made to do suicide by her husband demanding more dowery.

There are many women who face serious rape cases and acid attacks. Their life is getting spoiled by these kinds of women. We should know about the girl called Laxmi Agarwal. She was from Delhi and faced acid attack at the age of 15. She is now a campaigner for acid attack victims and a tv host.

Society sees women as inferior only. That mindset should be changed first. Everyone is equal whether it is a boy or a girl. They should be treated equally with equal opportunities and education. We have only one life. Be united in that life. All the best and keep moving. Enjoy your life. Have a blessed, united, happy and inspiring day.
