Recharge Your Confidence!

GOOOOD MORNINGGGG! How is your day going ? Is it one of those days where you are feeling 100% confident , with a fully charged battery of energy 😉?Seriously, how much self confidence do you have?Or how proud you feel of yourself. I know you will have confidence in things you do regularly. But what about when you try something new? Have you ever faced a situation where your confidence just drains away and you feel like you are not good for anything. Ahhh I know it’s a really bad situation. We all have been in those situations, haven’t we? It is a horrible situation, and I totally understand how it feels. But they are actually part of our life. It’s those experiences that help us grow. Without them we will be stuck in one place. Life is all about moving forward, learning from setbacks and building ourselves stronger each time. When you attend a motivational class the first thing you will hear is what determines your confidence. “Is it other people’s words or actions?” And then they will...

Stop Comparing : Start Succeeding !

Hellooo Everyone! Today, I want to take you back to your school days. Were you a front bencher or back bencher? You know society often considers the front benchers as the toppers and the backbenchers as the losers. Well I believe in what our former president, Abdul Kalam said, “The best brains of the nation may be found on the last benches of the classroom”. From the experiences and stories that I have heard, I came to know that the front benchers may know how to top the class but the back  benchers often have a  deeper understanding of how to be the real topper of life. And then there is that middle group, like me 😉,  the ones that don’t fit in either category. We often find ourselves stuck in the middle trying to succeed both in life and class, chasing for the ideas to be a topper. I guess I am deviating away from the main point I wanted to share with you. Let’s get back to those old school memories. Life was so simple back then, wasn’t it? The only worries were...

Positive Presence

HAPPYYYYY NEW YEAR.   Really wishing that this year brings you endless happiness and growth. Any new year resolutions lined up. Ooh I forgot to ask, how was you Christmas. Did you have yummy plum cakes and wines. I am not a big fan of plum cakes. What about you? Are you a fan of those rich, fruity treats, or do you prefer a different kind of cake maybe Chocolate cakes like me. Let me know what you like, I am always curious about other people’s Favorite festive foods. I have been thinking about how we can all make a positive impact this year. And that made me remember a question I got this Christmas. It wasn’t a complicated question, but it made me think. So, I thought I do share it with you as well. The question was simple but yet profound. “What is Christmas? Why do you celebrate Christmas?” How would you answer if I ask you the same? I gave a simple answer. “It is the birthday of Jesus Christ”. But then came a follow up question that really made me pause. “Why do you celebrate ...

Turning Pain into Power !

The word friendship seems to be too simple but it is having incredible powers than you think. It can give you joy, lots of memories that always hold over hearts and in the same way it teaches you really tough lessons of betrayal and mistreatment. Like many others reading this, I too had experienced both good and bad friendships, this really changed me but ultimately made me stronger only. I believe that we should experience the bad friendships first and then enjoy the really good life waiting for us. Bad friendships are sometimes a blessing in disguise. It will teach us resilience and make us powerful to withstand anything. But not everyone will be so lucky to overcome the emotional scars that happen through bullying or ragging. The tragic story of Ammu, a young nursing student from Kerala is a heartbreaking reminder of this. She ended her life leaving two words behind “I quit”. Ammu’s life was full of promises and I believe she had a beautiful life filled with happiness and wond...

Unstoppable power of challenges.

W hile walking through the busy streets, I came to notice a poignant scene. A young woman in her 30’s sitting on the footpath and crafting rose bouquets. Beside her a tiny boy - mostly her son, who took the role of a tiny salesman. The boy approached the people walking by requesting them to buy the flowers. The little innocent face caught their attention, so most of them bought flowers. I joined them as well. This might seem like an ordinary scene in a busy city. But taking a moment and thinking of the scene will help us understand many things. In that moment I realized that the boy was not just selling flowers but in fact he was actually cultivating hard work and resilience in him. I am sure that he can face anything in life since he was trained to overcome challenges in this very young age. While many of us have grown in our comfort zone, it will be very difficult when life throws us into a big pit. The more we face problems in our younger age the more we will be able to face ...

Power of Dreams - Super Magical

A friend of mine was encouraging me the other day that there was something really good waiting for us. Therefore, when the time comes, we will certainly receive it. Do you have a friend that motivates you saying that you have something really great coming for you. If yes, don't forget to mention and talk about your super motivator here.  More than just a line of motivation this makes real sense when we relate it to our own lives. This makes us feel that our life is already written and when time comes everything that was meant for us will reach our hands. I hope almost all of us have experienced such a situation during our life journey. Sometimes you  might have planned to study your favorite subject in college with your best friend. But at the end you might have taken some other subject and had gone really far from your favorite friends. This might not be one case, there might be many situations where you might have experienced this. What will be your reaction to such a case? ...

Due tomorrow? Do tomorrow.

“My advice is to never do tomorrow what you can do today. Procrastination is the thief of time.” A famous quote by Charles Dickens. While reading this quote my eyes got stuck into the word procrastination. Are you a procrastinator ? I guess many times we become a procrastinator even though we don’t wish to be.  Imagine you have got a holiday today. You have some assignments to be submitted next week. Would you complete your assignment now or think that any way I have got one more week for the submission, I will just do it later, let me have a good sleep now. And that 'later' goes till the day before the submission. And you will be completing your work a day before the deadline in a hurry. The same thing happens for your studies also. You will happily enjoy and waste the entire semester without studying anything and on the day before the exam you open up your beautifully kept notebook and start studying. You will complete the entire syllabus with your superpower. I guess you ...
